I started with an A2 panel of light blue cardstock and used dye inks in colors inspired by our moodboard to blend through the Melodic Tunes Stencils 360°™. Next, I adhered my finished panel down to a top folding notecard.

I stamped the “thank you” sentiment from So Blessed in black dye ink and die cut it out with the coordinating die. I cut a few extra diecuts and adhered them behind for extra dimension before adhering the sentiment down to my card. Finally, I finished the card off with some embellishments!

Today’s card is super quick and simple, and would be great for mass producing! I started by blending yellow distress oxide ink through Barrel C of the Sunburst Floral Stencils 360°™ onto some kraft cardstock. I lightly blended the center with brown distress oxide ink and then used Barrel D to add the center dots with a heavier hand.

I white heat embossed a sentiment from Birthday Wishes, and diecut it out using the coordinating dies. I adhered my sentiment to the center of my card with foam tape and adhered a few pearl embellishments to finish off the card!

We love seeing your creations and would love for you to join us in this month’s challenge! All you have to do to enter is use the challenge sketch to create a project. Full challenge rules can be found here.

Sunbird Spark Challenge #46 – Valentine’s Moodboard

Hello and welcome back crafty friends!

We loved seeing your sketch-inspired projects over the past month, thank you so much to all of those who participated in Challenge #45!

Now, onto Sunbird Spark Challenge #46! We have a fun Valentine’s inspired moodboard for our inspiration this month. Don’t forget to link your projects below for your chance to win a gift card to the shop!

I have so much patterned paper that I rarely use, but this color palette inspired me to pull it out. I started by cutting a piece of patterned paper down to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and adhering it to a top-folding card base. Then, I used a scalloped edge die to cut a rectangle matte from red cardstock, and adhered a coral cardstock strip on top.

I stamped one of the bird images from A Little Birdie, and diecut it out with the coordinating dies. I adhered it to the center of my cardstock strip, stamped a coordinating sentiment along the bottom, and finished the card off with some embellishments!

We love seeing your creations and would love for you to join us in this month’s challenge! All you have to do to enter is use the challenge color palette to create a project. Full challenge rules can be found here.

I arranged my stamped images around the card (using an inspiration photo from the original arcade game!) and adhered them. I finished the card off by heat-embossing the sentiment onto a black banner which I adhered to the card using foam tape.

In today’s card I’m showcasing a few products from the new release which you can pre-order now! I started by die-cutting all the pieces from the new Build A Santa stand alone die, and used glitter cardstock for his suit. I adhered all my diecuts together and added some liquid applique to his pompom and sleeves.

Next, I made a tone-on-tone background by repeat stamping the “joy” sentiment from the new Dots in Harmony Sentiments in shades of blue and white pigment ink onto blue cardstock. I chose a sentiment from my pile of Magical Christmas Sentiments, which can be die-cut all at once with the coordinating die. Finally, I adhered everything to my cardbase with foam tape and finished the card off with some embellishments!
