Now, onto Sunbird Spark Challenge #63! This month we want you to make the sentiment the star of your card! Don’t forget to link your projects below for your chance to win a gift card to the shop!

I was inspired by the new Moments of Calm Premium Foiled Affirmation Words and knew I wanted to use them as the focal point on my card this month. I started by ink blending a 1.5″ section of my card base in some pink, orange, and yellow in dye ink. I also used the Blossom Sprinkle Stencils 360°™ to ink blend some flowers in a slightly darker dye ink for interest.

Next, I used foam take to adhere the gold-foiled “breathe” sentiment from Moments of Calm Premium Foiled Affirmation Words onto the the corresponding gold-foiled Circles of Clarity Premium Foiled Reflection Circles. I adhered this down to my card (hiding my adhesive behind the sentiment) and added some embellishments to finish off the card!

Now, onto Sunbird Spark Challenge #62! This month we have a simple sketch to get your starte. Don’t forget to link your projects below for your chance to win a gift card to the shop!

Summer is in full swing (it’s currently 33°C, but feels closer to 45°C in Ontario today!), so I was inspired to create a cool, refreshing card for today’s challenge! I started by stamping several of the images from Sweet Delights using pastel dye inks (I was still inspired by Challenge #60) and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I adhered a strip of Smokey Eyes – Heavyweight Premium Cardstock toward the bottom of my top-folding notecard to act as a counter and ground my images. Next I adhere my images to the card, stamped a sentiment from Sweet Delights, and finished the card off with some embellishments!

Now, onto Sunbird Spark Challenge #61! This month we have a fun rainbow palette as our inspiration! Don’t forget to link your projects below for your chance to win a gift card to the shop!

I needed a quick birthday card this week, so I decided to use the color inspiration with repeat stamping! I used the “celebrate” sentiment from Dots In Harmony Sentiments and repeatedly stamped it in rainbow order using dye inks. I used a stamp positioner to quickly move my slimline panel down in equal increments each time I stamped.

I adhered my panel down to a card base made from Tangerine Crush – Heavyweight Premium Cardstock. I white heat embossed the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from Enchanting Paris onto a black sentiment strip and popped it up on my card with some foam tape. Lastly, I finished the card off with some iridescent sequins!

Now, onto Sunbird Spark Challenge #60! This month we have another fun color palette for our inspiration, but this time it’s pastels! Don’t forget to link your projects below for your chance to win a gift card to the shop!

I recently needed some tags for a few care packages I made and was inspired to use our pastel inspiration to create them! I started by die-cutting out a tag. Next, I masked a 0.5″ vertical strip and used blending brushes to blend on blue dye-ink toward the bottom and yellow toward the top, gently blending them together at the center. Next, I moved my masking tape 0.5″ to the right to create a second 0.5″ vertical strip which I blended with yellow toward the bottom and pink toward the top, again gently blending them toward the center.

Next, I used black dye-ink to stamp the floral image from Timeless Tulips and the hugs sentiment from Unity and Friendship Quotes onto my tag. I finished my tag off by adding some pastel sequins and some glittery satin ribbon.

Now, onto Sunbird Spark Challenge #59! This month we have a fun spring-themed moodboard for our inspiration. Don’t forget to link your projects below for your chance to win a gift card to the shop!

I started by creating my background using the Art Deco Elegance 3D Embossing Folder and adhering it down to my top-folding notecard. Next, I diecut the bottom 1/4 of the Dynamic Dotted Chevron Cover Die from holographic cardstock and adhered it down to my card base on an angle. I also added a strip of glitter cardstock to tie together the background.

Next, I used holographic foil and heat-pressed the Timeless Tulips Press Plates onto white cardstock. I used dye inks and the Timeless Tulips Layering Stencils to add color to my florals and cut it out with the coordinating dies. To add dimension, I adhered two extra diecuts behind my floral and adhered it down to my card base. I finished the card off with a sentiment from Flourish Boldly Clear Stamps and some embellishments!
