Hello and welcome back crafty friends!

We loved seeing your pool moodboard-inspired projects over the past month, thank you so much to all of those who participated in Challenge #64!

Now, onto Sunbird Spark Challenge #65! This month we have a fun, spooky-themed moodboard to spark your creativity. Don’t forget to link your projects below for your chance to win a gift card to the shop!

For this month’s card, I started by creating a watercolor background inspired by our moodboard. I used Ecoline inks to create a simple watercolor background and added lots of white opaque splatter to transform it into a starry galaxy sky. Next, I stamped one of the house images from Cozy Streets onto some white cardstock. I used the coordinating die and a partial diecut technique to cut out the houses while leaving the area of cardstock below the houses intact.

I adhered my watercolor panel onto a black cardbase, and adhered my partial diecut panel to fit perfectly overtop. I finished the card off my stamping a sentiment from Cozy Streets just under the row of homes, and added some star embellishment to my night sky.
