Hello and welcome back crafty friends!
We loved seeing your spring-inspired projects over the past month, thank you so much to all of those who participated in Challenge #59!
Now, onto Sunbird Spark Challenge #60! This month we have another fun color palette for our inspiration, but this time it’s pastels! Don’t forget to link your projects below for your chance to win a gift card to the shop!
I recently needed some tags for a few care packages I made and was inspired to use our pastel inspiration to create them! I started by die-cutting out a tag. Next, I masked a 0.5″ vertical strip and used blending brushes to blend on blue dye-ink toward the bottom and yellow toward the top, gently blending them together at the center. Next, I moved my masking tape 0.5″ to the right to create a second 0.5″ vertical strip which I blended with yellow toward the bottom and pink toward the top, again gently blending them toward the center.
Next, I used black dye-ink to stamp the floral image from Timeless Tulips and the hugs sentiment from Unity and Friendship Quotes onto my tag. I finished my tag off by adding some pastel sequins and some glittery satin ribbon.
