Hello and welcome back crafty friends!
We LOVED seeing your fall inspired projects over the past month. Thank you so much to all of those who participated in Challenge #41 & 42! Now, onto Sunbird Spark Challenge #43! It’s November 1st, and in my books, once we pass Halloween, it’s holiday season, hence our holiday-themed colour palette! Don’t forget to link your projects below for your chance to win a gift card to the shop!
I started by stamping and gold heat-embossing a sentiment from Magical Christmas Sentiments onto Christmas Tree Heavyweight Cardstock. Next, I used a few shades of green dye ink to stamp the tree images from Minimalist Christmas Trees onto my background to create a tone-on-tone look.
To highlight my sentiment I like to create a bit of a “halo” by blending around the edges with 2 shades of dye ink slightly darker than my background cardstock. Lastly, I added a few gold sequins and embellishments to finish off the card!
