Hello and welcome back crafty friends!
We LOVED seeing your ocean palette-inspired projects over the past month and want to thank you so much for participating in Challenge #39.
Now, onto Penguin Palace Challenge #40! This month we have a fun rainbow color palette as our inspiration! Don’t forget to link your projects for your chance to win a gift card!
I love rainbow cards and usually start by creating my background. I rotated the Kaleidoscope Stencils 360°™ stencil in 60 degree increments using the Stencils 360°™, blending in rainbow order. Once I was done blending with the stencil, I came back in with the same blending brushes and used a lighter hand to soften the background to create a tone-on-tone look. Next, I diecut my stenciled background using a circle die, and used a circle die one size larger to create my card base.
I adhered by rainbow stenciled background to my card base and moved on stamping. I stamped and Copic-colored an image from Life Is A Carnival, and diecut it with the coordinating dies. Next, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the Birthday Wishes stamp set onto dark grey cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered my image, sentiment, and a few embellishments to my card base to finish off my card!
