We LOVED seeing your sketch-inspired projects over the past month and want to thank you so much for participating in Challenge #30.
Thank you so much to all of those who participated in Challenge #29 & 30! Unfortunately, we didn’t have quite enough participants to declare a winner, but we really want to thank you so much for participating in Challenges #29 & 30.
Now, onto Penguin Palace Challenge #31! The holidays are only a couple months away — there are many celebrations this time of year, but even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, we hope this warm color palette will inspire you to create a fun project!

I started by die-cutting two mittens using the Mason Jars and Mittens Shaker Tags. I cut one from red, and the other from green, Heavyweight Premium Cardstock. I swapped the leaves and berries to inlay them into the opposite mitten and added some gold marker to the circles near the wrist.
Next, I created by background using stencil A from the Gazania Stencils 360°™ and turning it at 22.5 degree intervals. I blended half of the stencil in red dye ink and the other half in green, and then cut down the panel. I stamped a sentiment from the Magical Christmas Sentiments stamp set and die-cut it out with the coordinating dies. Finally, I adhered the mittens and sentiment to my ink blended panel and added some gold sequins to finish off the card.
